A non-compete agreement, also known as a non-compete clause or a restrictive covenant, is a type of contract that is signed between an employer and an employee. Its purpose is to prevent the employee from engaging in certain types of competition with the employer for a specified period of time after the employment relationship has ended. Despite the benefits that non-compete agreements offer to employers, they have been the subject of controversy and criticism. Some argue that they limit employee mobility and job opportunities, while others claim that they stifle innovation and entrepreneurship. In some jurisdictions, non-compete agreements are subject to legal limitations or outright bans, while in others they are enforceable to varying degrees. _________________________ Why we do not believe in having non-compete agreements at Total One Logistics?
